Relationship to money
The purpose of Harmony Divine is spiritual. A fundamental precept that you don't have to believe in or assume to discover by experience is that the divine spirit is freely poured into all people's minds. It is absolutely out of the question to monetize any direct contribution to develop our relationship with the divine within. A principle that is dear to facilitators: what the spirit has given us for free, we share for free.
At the same time, to support the work of inner fulfillment, a large part of the work carried out by the Harmony Divine team is to put in place a framework and logistics that are essentially material. The members of the team, like everyone else, have material needs for themselves and their families. Our society measures these material needs and allows mutually supportive actions to be exchanged with money. This is why Harmony Divine needs and accepts material support to operate, whether in financial or other forms - see the Contribution options section that lists the ways to materially support the project and the team leading it.
Harmony Divine would like to live in a world of service where all actions come from a spontaneous inner impulse to contribute to the world and its inhabitants, even contributions of a purely material nature. A realistic observation is that our society is far from functioning according to this model. So in principle, Harmony Divine considers a binary structure of exchanges:
the personal exchanges of mutual edifications that represent a treasure that is freely cultivated and exchanged;
exchanges of material goods and services that include operational logistics and which follow the rules of our society - see the Contribution model page.
In other perhaps simpler words, the Harmony Divine team "earns its material living" like anyone else: with its contributing work on the material plane. Any action related to a person or group relationship represents a service whose reward is not of this world and therefore is, materially speaking, given freely.
If the total sum of material contributions, including financial, is significantly lower than the operating project costs then the project is doomed to failure: bankruptcy in economic terms. In the opposite situation, the project is viable and can prosper: any profit is then reinvested in the maintenance and growth of the logistical part inalienable to the project - e.g., real estate hosting the trainees and facilitators, IT infrastructure, publications, education, permaculture, that are investments that at the end of the chain ultimately result in a reduction in costs and therefore in the necessary material contributions to sustain our project, aiming the dream that Harmony Divine may one day operate entirely through exchange of spontaneous and voluntary services. Amen!
